According to Nurbol Baizhanov, Head of the Department of Systematic Activities in the Tourism Sector of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a unified calendar of events has been developed on the Kazakhstan.travel tourist portal for the development of event tourism. It includes events of various formats that interest tourists.

"In 2024, 137 events were included in this calendar, 80% of which took place in Astana and Almaty. The Ministry will continue this work together with local executive bodies", - said the speaker at the press conference held at the square of OKC.

He said that the events should become a tradition and be something that the public is looking forward to.

"Therefore, he proposed to hold at least one large-scale event per year that attracts tourists in each region. This will have a positive effect on the promotion of tourism in each region", said the representative of TSM.
