7319 bottles without a license: alcohol products with violations seized in Uralsk As part of the ongoing work to curb the illicit trafficking of excisable products, the Department of State Revenue for the West Kazakhstan region, together with its territorial divisions, is conducting verification activities. During a thematic inspection in the central market area of Uralsk, the facts of the sale of alcoholic beverages without an appropriate license were revealed. As a result, 7,319 bottles of alcoholic beverages of various names were seized from illicit trafficking. All materials on the facts of violations have been sent to the specialized administrative court of the city of Uralsk for making an appropriate procedural decision. The Department of State Revenue for the West Kazakhstan Region reminds: compliance with legislation in the field of turnover of excisable products is a prerequisite for all market participants. Illegal alcohol trafficking not only undermines legal business, but also poses a direct threat to consumer health.
