The Karaganda region is looking for additional ways to expand the market for local products. A delegation of Kazzinc, the largest mining and metallurgical company, visited the region. One of the leaders of the non-ferrous metallurgy of the country already uses the products of the brand "Made in Karaganda". These are fasteners for mining operations, lining, gummed products, etc. Industrialists from the East Kazakhstan region came to find new suppliers.

Following the trip, a memorandum was signed with the Akimat of the region, the purpose of which is to support local producers and develop interregional business ties.

Representatives of Kazzink visited a number of industrial enterprises in the region and got acquainted with the production.

The exhibition of products of local producers was held at the site of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

An extensive range of products and solutions was presented:

from workwear to technological equipment, additive technologies using 3D printing.

Then a round table was held, where the possibilities of expanding cooperation were discussed.

– You already know our region, you work with local enterprises. There are opportunities to build mutually beneficial cooperation. We are glad that our domestic large companies are coming and finding new relationships with the producers of our region. We have import–substituting plants, including those producing high-grade products," Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev greeted the guests.

Karaganda producers were able to directly voice their proposals to the company's management.

Zhanat Zhanbotin, General Director of Kazzinc LLP, stressed that the government sets the task of increasing the domestic value of large businesses in order to achieve economic growth. In his opinion, this trip will give an impetus to the expansion of business ties.

– We had the opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements and business of the main commodity producers. It's a very good experience. The participation of large businesses in increasing domestic value is becoming key for us. In this regard, we are looking for common ground with local producers in order to follow the path of import substitution. I expect from this meeting that we will find reliable partners. The potential for cooperation is great," said Zhanat Zhanbotin.

The memorandum confirmed the willingness of the parties to stimulate the growth of Kazakhstani content.
