Public services are a barrier to corruption

The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region warns that corruption is an abuse of official position for personal gain.
In order to avoid situations that force you to pay a bribe, provide some kind of tangible or intangible benefit to a public official, citizens first need to know their rights and, of course, their duties.
In order to regulate public relations, the State has introduced a law on public services.
A public service is one of the forms of realization of individual state functions or their totality, carried out with or without the request of service recipients and aimed at realizing their rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, providing them with appropriate tangible or intangible benefits.
The services provided by the State are classified in the unified register of public services.
The register of public services includes 43 public services provided by state revenue authorities, of which 26 services are provided in the tax block and 17 in the customs block.
For each public service, the terms of the provision of services, the methods of obtaining services, the list of documents required for the application, the result, as well as the grounds for refusal to receive public services are determined.
In order to minimize the contacts of service recipients with employees of state revenue agencies, reduce time costs, and enable them to receive services without being linked to a specific location, 39 services, or 90.7%, are implemented electronically and can be obtained, if there is an electronic digital signature, in the taxpayer's IP Office or on the e-government web portal.
In addition, the most up-to-date services and services, such as receiving tax reports, a service on tax and social payment arrears, information on suspension (extension, resumption) of tax reporting and revocation of tax reporting, taxpayer search, search for unreliable taxpayers, a service for upcoming payments to individual entrepreneurs, bankruptcy of individuals, online booking and others, implemented in mobile applications of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, these are e-SalyqAzamat, e-Salyq Bussines.
The list of public services provided by the state revenue authorities is posted on the official website of both the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region.
Dear service recipients, knowing your rights, as well as fulfilling your duties, will allow you to avoid situations where government officials force you to resort to bribery and bribery.
It should be noted that according to the legislation, giving a bribe also entails criminal liability.
