Yesterday, our city hosted a celebration dedicated to the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan — a holiday symbolizing peace, harmony and friendship between representatives of various ethnic groups living in our country.
The central event of the day was the exhibition exposition "One World — Different Cultures", in which enterprises and institutions of the city took part.
The ceremonial part of the event, held under the motto "Yntymagy zharaskan Kazakhstan!", began with a welcoming speech by the city akim B.T. Abdraliyev, who congratulated the townspeople on the holiday, wishing everyone unity, peace and goodness. Erlan Batyrbekov, Director General of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also made a congratulatory speech, emphasizing the importance of maintaining interethnic harmony and friendship in society.
The festive program continued with concert performances by creative groups of the city. Musical and dance numbers reflecting the cultural diversity of Kazakhstan were performed on stage.
