On 04/28/2025, during the investigative and operational measures of the Department of Internal Affairs of Atyrau region, together with the Department of Defense for Atyrau region, illegal business activities were suppressed for the supply of illegal excisable products in the form of tobacco and alcoholic beverages to the territory of Atyrau region, namely in Atyrau and Kurmangazinsky district.

         As a result of joint activities, 210 boxes of cigarettes (Oris, Mondeo, and Zumrret brands), 262 vapes, and 1,535 liters (in 5-liter 307 plastic containers) of alcoholic beverages were seized.

         The Department of Internal Affairs of Atyrau region urges citizens to be vigilant when purchasing alcohol and tobacco products of questionable origin, as counterfeit products pose a serious threat to the health and life of consumers. Only through joint efforts can the shadow market be reduced and public health protected.
