Guardsmen Win Judo Tournament

From May 2 to 4, 2025, Almaty hosted judo competitions as part of the 12th Spartakiad of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the Dynamo Physical Culture and Sports Society. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Major General Rafik Khaidarov and brought together over 150 athletes from 20 teams across the country.
The National Guard team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs once again demonstrated a high level of physical and combat readiness, achieving outstanding results and securing 1st place in the overall team ranking.
The following servicemen delivered notable performances in their respective weight categories:
▪️ Up to 66 kg — 2nd place: Private Nursultan Nurseitov (military unit 6654)
▪️ Up to 74 kg — 3rd place: Private Yersultan Duysenhan (military unit 5573)
▪️ Up to 81 kg — 1st place: Private Tilek Toktassynuly (military unit 5573)
▪️ Up to 90 kg — 1st place: Private Madi Amangeldi (military unit 5573)
▪️ Over 90 kg — 1st place: Private Sanzhar Dzhabborov (military unit 5573)
In addition, Private Tilek Toktassynuly was deservedly awarded in the individual category "Best Technique."
Final team standings:
1st place — National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan
2nd place — Abai Region Police Department
3rd place — Aktobe Region Police Department
The National Guard team demonstrated strength of spirit, courage, and a will to win, serving as a shining example throughout the tournament.
