Over the past four years, Lyceum school No. 8 has been forcibly housed in the building of secondary school No. 37 in the city of Uralsk. Due to the lack of facilities, the educational process took place in limited conditions the educational institution had only 10 classrooms at its disposal, which did not allow it to fully meet the educational needs of students. We are making every effort to complete the work on time, and we continue to monitor the progress of construction. The next step is to complete the finishing work and prepare the school for commissioning. We are proud that we will be able to provide our students with the best conditions for learning and unlocking their potential," said Alibek Antaziev, Head of the Construction Department. The new school is designed for 400 students and will be a modern four-storey building with a usable area of 8,262.5 m2. Thus, the school will become not only a place for obtaining basic knowledge, but also a center for the development of technical and engineering thinking. To date, the foundation work has been completed. The masonry of the exterior walls of the second and third floors, the installation of internal partitions, the installation of window openings on the ground floor, as well as the installation of floor slabs are underway. In addition, finishing works have begun in the basement and on the ground floor. The current construction readiness of the facility is 22%. The completion of all construction works and the commissioning of the school are scheduled for the end of this year. The new educational complex will make a significant contribution to the development of the region's educational infrastructure and create favorable conditions for the education and development of gifted children in the West Kazakhstan region.
