IN THE KARAGANDA REGION, SOCIAL PARTNERS DISCUSSED THE INTEGRATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INTO THE LABOR SPHERE AND THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN MODERN APPROACHES TO OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

On April 28, in honor of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, a roundtable was held in the conference hall of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University on the topic: “The Role of Women in Modern Approaches to Occupational Safety and Hygiene: Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization in the Workplace.”
The event was organized by the Trade Union Center of the Karaganda Region of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in social partnership with the Commission on Women and Family-Demographic Policy under the Akim of the Karaganda Region, the primary trade union organization, and the leadership of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
The roundtable was part of the Year of Blue-Collar Professions and was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the trade union movement in Kazakhstan and the 100th anniversary of the sectoral trade union of education, science, and higher education workers.
The key theme was the participation of women in developing new occupational safety methods, including the integration of digital solutions and artificial intelligence, as well as aspects of regulating social and labor relations. The event brought together trade union leaders, experts, university representatives, and employers.
