In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Bastaushi rural Library hosted an educational hour on the theme "Urpaktar urpaktary" for elementary school students named after Abai in order to perpetuate the memory of generations, not forgetting the exploits of soldiers and home front workers who took part in the war. During the educational hour, the librarian shared details about the feat of the heroes of the war years, and also honored the memory of the residents of the village of Bastaushi, veterans of the Great Patriotic War Gabduali Rakhanov, Zaken Belibayev, Bazar Smagulov, Myrzagali Tursyngaliev, Nurgazy Adekenov, Kaztai Dusupov, Seit Smagzamov. The accomplished feats are forever in our hearts.
