The Victory Cup and the ITF Kazakhstan Taekwondo Championship among juniors and youth are taking place in Karaganda. A record number of athletes from all regions of the country and Kyrgyzstan participate in it – 600 of the strongest young fighters. Everyone is primed for victory, as it is on the tatami in the SC "Zhastar" that the best are selected to perform in Italy at the World Championships. 

- This year, the ITF Taekwondo Federation of the Karaganda region celebrates its 35th anniversary. And when it was just being organized, we decided that we would definitely hold the tournament in honor of Victory Day. Even in the dashing 90s, when there were no taekwondo competitions in Kazakhstan at all, we did everything to make our special championship take place. Thanks to this, we survived. Therefore, the Victory Cup, which in 2025 also coincided with the championship of Kazakhstan, can be said to be historic for us. We always do it from the bottom of our hearts, we have a particularly warm attitude towards him," said Valery Kogai, President of the ITF Taekwondo Federation of the Karaganda region.
