As part of the "Taza Kazakhstan" program and the "Almaty is our Common Home" campaign, Almaly district took part in a large—scale eco-campaign in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory. The action was attended by students, representatives of the youth community of the district, "Zhasyl El", representatives of show business, deputies of the city Maslikhat, as well as the office of the akim of the district and active caring citizens.
In Almaly district, the event started from Amangeldy Street (from Tole bi Street to Kazybek bi Street) and further along the entire Tole bi street. The beginning of the eco-action was announced by People's Artists of Kazakhstan Tungyshbai Zhamankulov and Seken Turisbekov.
A landmark event was the laying of an alley of ornamental apple trees on Amangeldy Street. More than 20 trees were planted on the alley: deputies of the Maslikhat of Almaty, employees of city administrations and akimat of Almaty, honored artists and athletes.
In addition to Amangeldy Street, they cleaned up Tole bi Street. Representatives of the National Bank of Kazakhstan and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan cleaned the Severny Park.
Together with the municipal services, the Biokombint square and the territory along the Karasu River were put in order by representatives of the National Security Committee of Almaty.
Workers of the Zhuldyz, Tastak, Salamat trading house, Arena trading House and others supported the action and cleared the surrounding area.
The event was also supported by business representatives from Rozybakieva St., Abai Ave. and others.
The participants of the action and the municipal services of the district carried out sanitary cleaning of pedestrian zones, painting fences, pruning trees, restoring green areas.
35 units were involved. More than 550 m3 of garbage has been removed and removed.
