On May 27, in the city of Zhanaozen, a ceremonial event was held to present state awards to mothers of large families who have made a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s demographic growth and preserving national values.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 829 dated April 3, 2025, 17 mothers in Zhanaozen were awarded the "Altyn Alka" (Golden Pendant) and "Kumis Alka" (Silver Pendant) state decorations.

Deputy Akim of the city, Zhanabay Aimaganbetov, congratulated the recipients and emphasized their important role in society.

"A mother is the foundation not only of the family but of society as a whole. Your invaluable contribution to strengthening the country’s demographic potential and promoting our national values is highly appreciated. The State will always acknowledge and support your dedicated efforts," he stated.

The awardees expressed their gratitude to the city administration for the recognition and noted that raising children for the prosperity of the nation is their honourable duty.
