Dear defenders of the Fatherland!

I cordially congratulate you on a special holiday of our country - Defender of the Fatherland Day, which is celebrated on May 7! This day has become a symbol of courage, loyalty to the Motherland, boundless love for the Motherland and true patriotism.

This is a holiday that expresses deep respect for all citizens who faithfully serve the cause of peace and stability in our country, specialists in the field of defense, as well as veterans who have worked selflessly and continue to work for the sake of peace of our country.

The Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan are the guarantor of our independence, the pillar of our people. Serving in the army is a great honor and responsibility. Today, our courageous compatriots, who stand guard over peace and protect state borders, are real heroes!

There are many sons and daughters of Zhanaozen among the defenders of the Fatherland. They honorably fulfill their military duty and work worthily for the benefit of strengthening the security of Independent Kazakhstan. We always highly appreciate their valor and hard work.

We would like to express our special gratitude to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and retired military personnel who have served in the army and are an example for the younger generation.

Your feat is the spirit of the nation, an example for posterity.
