In Zhanaozen, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a special tribute was paid to the home front workers as part of the AMANAT party project "Honoring Veterans."

The city event was attended by Zhanaozen Akim Zhanseyt Kaynarbayev, Chairman of the city maslikhat Galym Bayzhanov, executive secretary of the city branch of the AMANAT party Temir Musayev, representatives of primary party organizations and employees of institutions.

The delegation members visited the homes of home front veterans living in Zhanaozen, congratulated them on the holiday, presented them with commemorative medals and memorable gifts. Akim of the city Zhanseyit Kaynarbayev expressed gratitude to the veterans for their selfless work in the name of the country and personally presented the commemorative medal "80 years of Victory".

Among the respected veterans who were honored were Biekhan Kozhagulkyzy (born in 1925), who turned 100 years old, Zhumazhan Suindikov (1930, 95 years old), Bektegen Amanov (1935, 90 years old), Mokan Kozhabergenov (1937, 88 years old), as well as Reim Jailybayev, Koylan Ibrashov and Sugir Balgabayev.. The elders and mothers blessed the younger generation and expressed wishes for peace and prosperity to the country.

— This is only a small part of our respect for veterans. Such meetings are of great importance for strengthening the continuity of generations," the akim of the city noted during the event.
