On May 2, 2025, the first meeting of the Community Council of Mangistau region was held.

Members of the Community Council of Mangistau region unanimously elected Zhusipov Bekmurat Kydyrbayuly as the chairman of the Community Council.

Chairman of the Community Council Zhusipov Bekmurat Kydyrbayuly approved the agenda of the meeting.

On the agenda:

1. About the election of the chairman of the Community Council of Mangistau region;
2. ⁠On creation of commissions of the Public Council of Mangystau region;
3. ⁠On the election of the chairmen of the commissions of the Public Council of Mangystau region;
4. ⁠On the election of the chairman of the Community Council of Mangystau region;
5. ⁠The issues of approving the Regulations of the Public Council were considered.

Two commissions were approved in the Regional Public Council.

Borashov Rabbim Baibozuly was elected as the chairman of the Committee on Economic and Budget Issues of the Public Council of Mangistau Region, and Tleubaeva Kalamkas Kaliyevna was elected as the chairman of the Commission on Social Issues.
In addition, the Regulations of the Public Council were approved.

2015 In November, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Councils" was adopted.
This Law defines the legal status of public councils, the formation and organization of activities aimed at the implementation of the state policy on the formation of a state accountable to the people, the wide participation of non-commercial organizations and citizens in the decision-making of state bodies at all levels.
