According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, the Department received 661 applications, compared to the current period of 2024, the increase in the total number of applications was 26.4% (523 applications were received in 2024).  43 protocols were drawn up for the total amount of 9,525,720 tenge on administrative violations (in the first quarter of 2024, 35 protocols were drawn up for the total amount of 3,424,330 tenge). Also, in the first quarter of 2025, 6,597 public services were provided, a 60.8% increase in service provision (4,103 services were provided in the first quarter of 2024).

The continuous increase in the total number of complaints indicates that the work of patient support and internal audit services at the level of medical organizations is ineffective, and the level of public satisfaction with the quality of services is decreasing every year.  In order to improve the quality of medical care, the Department held a consultation with the participation of the first heads of the Public Health Department and the capital's medical organizations on the basis of the Akimat of the city of Astana. Within the framework of the Council, the Department increased the total number of applications in the 1st quarter of 2025, as well as the effectiveness of the work of patient support and internal audit of medical organizations; issues of the procedure for holding an independent expert commission at the level of medical organizations;  administrative proceedings in the field of control of medical and pharmaceutical activities;  satisfaction of the population with the quality of medical services; drug labeling; Issues of GPP and public service provision were put on the agenda. Head of Department m.a. G. Gabbasova drew attention to the personal responsibility of the First Heads for the received applications, and also emphasized the need to conduct preventive work with medical workers of organizations on strict observance of ethical norms when working with patients.

Also, the Department will hold Open Door Days, ZOOM-consultations and live broadcasts on the issues of providing public services in the field of health care, introducing appropriate pharmacy practice GPP and submitting applications.
