On April 21 of this year, an important seminar was organized for military units #21744 #809 #75488. This event was conducted by Temiraliyev Asylzhan, a specialist of the Department of Religious Affairs of Mangistau region. The topic of the seminar is "Media literacy and information security".

During the event, the spread of false information, fake news and destructive ideologies in the media space, as well as effective methods of countering them, were explained. Temiraliyev Asylzhan noted that the flood of information is currently going on rapidly, so every citizen, especially young people, needs to be able to think critically when working with media tools.

The seminar was held in an interactive format, participants asked their questions and discussed ways to increase media literacy using various examples. The students received important information about distinguishing media content, using reliable sources, and avoiding threats in social networks.

Such seminars will undoubtedly contribute to raising the level of information security of young people, and their formation as conscious media users.
