On April 23, 2025, within the framework of the "Clean Kazakhstan" republican ecological action, another Saturday was organized in the "Nursat" sub-district of the Karatau district of Shymkent.

The employees of the district akimat and communal institutions, volunteers and local residents took part in the event. About 150 people participated. Also, 4 special machines were involved in the cleaning work.

In the course of the campaign, the grass of 5 yards was mowed, and about 14 cubic meters of household waste and ashes were removed to a special landfill.

This initiative within the campaign "Clean Kazakhstan" aimed at protecting, improving sanitary conditions and increasing environmental culture of city residents.

Akimat of Karatau district regularly organizes similar environmental events in the future and invites residents to actively participate.
