On the occasion of International Women's Day, 21 specialists in the water sector were awarded state and departmental awards.
The head of state Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev presented the Order of Honor to Tileukul Abdiraymova, engineer of the production department "Kazsushar" branch of Zhambyl region. awarded the "Kurmet" order to Tatiana Avdeeva, engineer-hydrologist of the Pavlodar operation department of the canal branch. Tsoi Roza, Chief Economist of the Kazakh Research Institute of Water Management, was awarded the Order of Honor. Aliya Kulzhabaeva, the head of the production department of the "Ontuskauzsu" branch of the "Kazsushar" enterprise, and Svetlana Tumenova, the head of the laboratory of the "Kamen" production site of the West Kazakhstan branch, were awarded the medal "For meritorious service". She was awarded with a certificate of honor and a letter of gratitude.
About two and a half thousand women work in the water sector in Kazakhstan. Among them, 2,258 people work at the enterprise "Kazsushar", 142 specialists work in the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation and Committees, and 119 women work in basin inspections. I thank you for your hard and honest work. I wish you great success, great health and happiness both in your career and in your personal life.
