During the meeting, the parties discussed the main issues of the development of the industry, in particular, the implementation of measures to reduce joint CO2 emissions provided for in the national plan and gradual transition to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), as well as the development of a master plan for the planning and development of the civil aviation industry until 2050.
The head of the EUR/NAT ICAO Bureau noted Kazakhstan's special work in implementing flight safety and international standards. He also confirmed that ICAO is ready to provide further support within the framework of joint initiatives and programs.
