Toronto, March 3, 2025 - within the framework of the visit of the Kazakh delegation to the PDAC-2025 conference, political consultations were held between Kazakhstan and Canada. The Kazakh delegation was led by Ruslan Urazalin, the director of the American Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Canadian delegation was led by Andreas Weichert, the director of the Eastern European and Eurasian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current state and future of bilateral Kazakhstan-Canada relations, as well as exchanged views on the international agenda. emphasized the importance of revitalizing activities.
In general, the Kazakhstan-Canada talks confirmed the mutual interest of the parties in further strengthening cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
