Ensuring the availability and quality of the preschool education system is one of the important priorities of the state policy. As the head of state noted, it is necessary to create suitable educational conditions for every child. In the Kostanay region, complex works are being carried out to build new kindergartens, reduce queues and attract private investment in the field of preschool education. Currently:
• 92% of children aged 2-6 are covered by preschool education,
• 100% of children aged 3-6 go to kindergartens.
Thanks to the construction of new facilities in rapidly developing areas, the shortage of places in preschool organizations is gradually decreasing.
Construction of new kindergartens
In 2024, 7 new kindergartens with 1,000 seats were opened in the region. Construction works continue in the cities of Kostanay and Rudny.
A 280-seat kindergarten is being built in the Airport sub-district of Kostanay. At the moment, 70% of the facility is ready, landscaping works have been completed, interior finishing, utility lines and roof installation are underway. The opening of the kindergarten allows to reduce the number of queues in this small district by 75%, and in the city by 10%.
The construction of a new kindergarten continues in the city of Rudny, which also helps to solve the problem of lack of space in the mentioned settlement. actively contributing to development. Several projects will be implemented this year at the expense of private investment:
• "SaryarkaAvtoProm" company plans to build a kindergarten at its own expense in the North-West subdistrict of Kostanay.
• Private investors will undertake a project to build a 280-seat kindergarten in the Bereke subdistrict.
In addition, special places for kindergartens will be provided on the first floors of new apartment buildings. This significantly reduces queues and ensures that children are located close to preschool educational institutions.

Development of the preschool education system is one of the main priorities of the region. Thanks to the comprehensive approach, the number of pre-school institutions in the region is increasing, and favorable conditions are being created for children.
