The goal of the republican action is to popularize Kazakh literature, increase public interest in reading, create conditions for studying the literary heritage of Kazakhstan, as well as develop the intellectual and spiritual level of the younger generation and respect for the native language.
The campaign, which began in 2007 with the reading of the prose of the great Abai, today continues to popularize and offer readers the best works of 51 outstanding poets and writers of Kazakh literature.
In order to continue the project, on May 12, a mobile book exhibition was presented in the foyer of the secondary school-lyceum No. 1 named after Abai as part of the “One country - one book - 2025” campaign, organized by the central library named after Saken Seifullin of the Zhetysu region. The schoolchildren looked at the exhibition with interest and shared their impressions.
