For the eighth time, the Regional Sports Contest among people with hearing, vision, and musculoskeletal system has been held in Karaganda. Within the framework of the championship, competitions in individual types of athletics, table tennis, mini-football, checkers and togyzkumalak will be held. More than 180 special athletes from cities and districts of our region will compete for the victory and tickets to the republican Spartakiad.

Among them is Zhanna Bakenova from Temirtau. She will compete in the athletics disciplines of the shot put, wheelchair race for 100 and 200 meters. And this is after surgery for

re-amputation!

- This is, in my opinion, the sixth time I have participated in the Spartakiad. I was a medalist in throwing, but I want to be the first! I see a goal and I see no obstacles," this extraordinary woman outlined her motto.

Zhanna is raising two children alone and at the same time she is engaged in dancing, sports, knitting, drawing and sculpting in a creative circle. She also belongs to a volunteer organization that is currently doing free repairs in the apartment of children who have lost their parents and are left in the care of an older brother.

- I putty, plaster, tile. There's not much left," said Zhanna, to whom we sincerely wish victory. Like all the participants of the Spartakiad, they are amazing people who amaze with their strength, will and optimism.
