The agenda included two issues for discussion:

1. Execution of the 2024 budget of the city of Kostanay;
2. Ongoing efforts by the Kostanay City Department for Emergency Situations to prevent and eliminate natural and man-made emergencies and to ensure fire safety in the city.

As part of the discussion on the execution of the 2024 city budget, and in accordance with Article 128 of the Budget Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies — members of the commission — heard the report of the Akim (Mayor) of Kostanay, Marat Zhundybayev.

Additionally, a member of the Audit Commission for the Kostanay Region, Arman Ispudinov, presented a report to the deputies on the fulfillment of key budget indicators for the city for 2024.

The Head of the Kostanay Department of State Revenues, Azamat Kozhukov, along with administrators of budget programs, also shared their information.

Furthermore, the representative authorized by the maslikhat, Dmitriy Pavlenko, presented a conclusion on the 2024 budget.

The second item on the agenda — "On the ongoing work to prevent and eliminate natural and man-made emergencies and to ensure fire safety in the city of Kostanay" — was presented by Aslan Makhmutov, Head of the Kostanay City Department for Emergency Situations under the Kostanay Regional Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As a result of the meeting, members of the commission unanimously voted to submit the discussed agenda items for approval at the upcoming tenth session of the Kostanay City Maslikhat.
