Today, the opening of the regional judo wrestling tournament among young men, dedicated to the memory of talented athlete Asset Suleimenov, who made his contribution to the world of sports, took place with the participation of Akim of the district Zhandos Yerkinbek.

Over the past 2 years, 4 sports complexes have been built and launched in the district with the support of the head of the region. Last year, sports and playgrounds for children were built in the village of Zhosaly, the rural districts of T. Komekbayev, Kuandaria, Akzhar, Irkol and Torebai bi. This year, construction is planned in the villages of Zhosaly, Toretam and the village of III International.

Sport is the most important sphere that dominates the merits of our state and leads the population to well-being. Asset Suleimenov was born in 1969. Due to his dedication and talent, he participated in many national competitions and was awarded a sports title. "Hope for the Master of sports of the USSR". Since 1986, he began his career as a coach at the district sports school, followed by honorary service in the internal affairs bodies.
