The V regional Rural Summer Youth Games are being held in the village of Botakara, Bukharzhyrau. About 700 teenagers from seven districts of the Karaganda region take part in them. The competition program includes volleyball, mini-football, arm wrestling, togyzkumalak, table tennis, asyk atu-bes asyk, judo, Kazakh kuresi and streetball. The opening of the games took place on May 15 at the Saryarka Stadium.

- This is my first time participating in these competitions. And I really like it. Cool! Because it's about sport, rivalry, and some kind of diversity. We really want to win everyone," said Arina Makhambetova, a tenth-grade volleyball player from the Abai district.

By the way, the previous youth Games were hosted by the city of Abai. The Shetskiy district won in the team competition. Abai was in second place, and Bukharzhyrau was in third place. But this championship among teenagers from rural districts is very suitable, even if it is well-worn, but in this case a very appropriate phrase: "The main thing is not victory, but participation." Because it is obvious that the process is very important for boys and girls at these games, not just the result.
