On May 16, 2025, East Kazakhstan Regional Philharmonic Hall hosted an awarding ceremony to honor the winners and prize-winners of the WorldSkills Shygys 2025 Regional Championship, held as part of the Year of Skilled Trades.

Throughout three days, leading specialists of enterprises and masters of industrial training assessed the participants of the Championship.

According to the results of the Championship, students from 28 colleges won in 38 competencies and earned the right to represent the region in the Republican WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2025 Championship, to be held in November this year in Astana city.

According to the results of the overall team competition:

🏆 I place - the team of Ust-Kamenogorsk Higher Polytechnic College (9 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze medals and 2 medallions “Best Specialist”);

🏆 II place - the team of Ridder College (3 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze medals and 4 medallions “Best Specialist”);

🏆 III place - the team of Ust-Kamenogorsk Multidisciplinary Technological College (5 gold, 3 bronze medals and 2 medallions “Best Specialist”).

The top-performing colleges in the team competition were awarded valuable prizes from Akim of East Kazakhstan region.

With the generous sponsorship of Kazzink LLP, the winners and prize-winners of the Championship received valuable prizes.
