A bright flash mob and a festive concert took place in Kostanay, dedicated to the International Family Day and the Year of Crime Prevention, declared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The large-scale event was held under the motto: "Police on guard of law and order" and became part of the challenge "Kazakhstan without domestic violence".

As Madina Valieva, Head of the Department for Combating Domestic Violence of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Kostanay Region, emphasized, the goal of the event is to form zero tolerance for domestic violence in society, strengthen family values ​​and expand interdepartmental cooperation.

About 300 college students gathered in the square near the regional akimat building, lining up in a living inscription "NO VIOLENCE!" The participants waved balloons and flags, creating a bright and memorable picture that attracted the attention of city residents.

Representatives of the Akimat's Department of Culture and Sports, military personnel, employees of the Department of Emergency Situations, doctors, volunteers of the search and rescue teams "Bars" and "DOS", as well as the NGO "Alliance of Women's Forces" joined the initiative.

One of the highlights was the demonstration number of young karatekas from the Kostanay branch of the All-Kazakhstan Kyokushinkai Karate Organization. Their performance became a symbol of the fact that aggression can be transformed into strength, discipline and self-control.

Chief sensei AISULU ABULKHANOVA noted:
"Sport teaches control, discipline, respect. This is strength without aggression! Let's say NO to violence!"

During the event, police officers distributed information leaflets with helpline numbers and contact information for services where you can seek help in case of domestic violence.
AISULU ISMAILOVA, Chief Inspector for Women and Children Affairs of the Akim's Office of Kostanay Region, emphasized the importance of such events as a tool for education and prevention and wished all families mutual understanding, harmony and love.

The event ended with a festive concert with the participation of creative groups of the city.
