From May 21 to 22, 2025, employees of the State Revenue Committee took part online in the international forum of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA), dedicated to the implementation of measures to counteract the erosion of the tax base and profit shifting (BEPS).

       The main purpose of the forum was to facilitate the exchange of experience, positive and negative practices in the field of countering BEPS, as well as the creation and maintenance of a network of officials specializing in the practical implementation of BEPS measures.

      During the workshop, key aspects of the implementation of the BEPS Action Plan under the 2024-2025 mandate were discussed. The participants exchanged experiences on the practical application of legislation related to the Second component of the solution and discussed the resulting challenges for tax administrations. Special attention was paid to the issues of country reporting (CbC) and its relation to the Rules of the Global Fight against Base Erosion (GloBE), procedures for mutual agreements in complex tax disputes, as well as business restructuring, including the transfer of intangible assets.

       Among the speakers of the event were representatives of the tax administrations of the IOTA member countries, as well as invited experts with international experience in tax policy and practical implementation to counteract the erosion of the tax base and profit shifting.

       At the end of the workshop, the participants emphasized the importance of such events to strengthen international dialogue and exchange best practices. The knowledge gained will contribute to more effective implementation of BEPS and improve the quality of tax administration in IOTA member countries.
