National Onomastics: research and practice in Semey / Republican seminar Within the framework of the republican seminar "National Onomastics: search and practice", held in Semey, Abai region, industry experts from all over the country gathered. Baktygul Botaevna Abiyeva, Head of the Department of Onomastic Work and Analysis of the Department for the Development of Languages of the Aktobe region, was among the speakers who took part in the seminar and exchanged experiences. During the seminar: current problems in the field of onomastics, systematization of administrative-territorial names, digitization and unification of names in navigation systems, regional experience and achievements were widely discussed.
