National Guard Ensemble Wins at the International Festival “Braslavskie Zarnitsy”
29.05.2025 13:15:25 16310From May 23 to 25, the city of Braslav (Republic of Belarus) hosted one of the oldest and most respected festivals of traditional culture — Braslavskie Zarnitsy, which celebrated its 58th anniversary this year. The competition brought together 24 vocal ensembles from various countries and regions, uniting around 500 participants performing traditional songs accompanied by live folk instruments.
A special point of pride at the festival was the participation of the male choir of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The ensemble presented a solemn concert program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The emotional performance, high professional level, strong patriotic spirit, and rich vocal sound earned the group first place among all contestants.
The performance of the male choir at this cultural forum not only demonstrated their exceptional artistic skill but also made a significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cultural ties between nations. The musical number delivered by the Kazakh servicemen was met with enthusiastic applause and was highly praised by the jury.
It is worth noting that the Braslavskie Zarnitsy festival traditionally serves as a platform for the preservation and promotion of folk culture. The participation of the National Guard Ensemble of Kazakhstan confirmed once again that servicemen of the Guard are not only defenders of the Homeland, but also bearers and continuers of their people’s spiritual traditions.
