Today, together with the contractor and the city utilities, a visiting council was held at the sites where it is planned to reconstruct Narimanov and Frolov streets in the Zhana Kala microdistrict.

On Frolov Street, on the segment from Abai Avenue to Baymagambetov Street, it is planned to repair a 726-meter-long road section. As part of the project, the roadway will be widened from 7 to 10.5 meters, two-lane traffic will be organized, and modern street lights will be installed. In addition, there is a parking lane and 48 parking spaces.

Initially, reconstruction of the entire section from Abai Avenue to Baymagambetov Street was planned on Narimanov Street. However, today it has been decided to exclude the section from Altynsarina Street to Baymagambetov from the project — this will preserve green spaces and avoid damage to engineering networks.

Thus, the reconstruction will cover the section from Abai Avenue to Altynsarina Street: the roadway will be expanded from 7 to 14 meters, engineering networks will be updated, new street lights will be installed. Parking lanes will appear on both sides of the street, 66 parking spaces are provided.

It is expected that the work carried out will increase the capacity of roads and create more comfortable conditions for residents of the Zhana Kala microdistrict, especially in the context of urgent problems with parking and traffic load.
