As part of the execution of the instructions of the Head of State, announced at the IV meeting of the National Kurultai, on May 28 this year, the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the Akimat of Kostanay region held a round table on the topic: "Transport and logistics: a vector of development of Kostanay region". The development of transport logistics is one of the most important tasks facing the country's economy. Transport is the most important sector of the domestic economy and Kostanay region is one of the largest regions of the republic with an advantageous transport and economic position, large labor resources, a modern telecommunications network, with fast and prompt access to neighboring countries. The participants of the round table discussed the prospects for the development of existing projects and relevant transport and logistics solutions, exchanged views and proposals on the development of export-import and transit transportation, the development of logistics centers, dry ports and cargo transportation.
