As part of the National Action Plan “Ata Zan - tәuelsizdik tiregi”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a field expert meeting was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The event was attended by Justice of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Kydyrbayeva, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office, local executive bodies, and the university’s academic staff.

Justice Aigul Kydyrbayeva provided a detailed overview of the key provisions of the 2022 constitutional reform, which led to the re-establishment of the Constitutional Court in a renewed format. Special attention was given to the new powers of the Court, the accessibility of constitutional review for citizens, and the importance of enforcing the Court’s decisions.

During the dialogue, participants exchanged views on the role of public awareness in shaping a legal culture and promoting the principles of constitutionalism in society.

Aigul Kydyrbayeva emphasized the principles of openness and transparency in the Constitutional Court’s work and expressed readiness for continued dialogue with civil society and the academic community.
