The Forum was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Astana International Forum is a unique high-level international event. It brings together heads of state, representatives of international organizations, business, academia, and civil society for open dialogue on the most important global challenges. Against the backdrop of growing geopolitical tensions, rapid climate change, and the transformation of the global economy, the forum is held under the theme “Connecting Minds, Shaping the Future”, serving as a space for joint solutions and new opportunities.

This year, delegations from over 70 countries are participating – including representatives of the UN, World Bank, IMF, WTO, the European Union, as well as countries from Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Speakers include heads of state, ministers, leading economists, CEOs of transnational corporations, researchers, and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

More than 5,000 international guests have arrived. These include forum participants, heads of delegations, business leaders, accompanying delegates, and over 100 foreign media journalists.
