A training event organized by the Anti-Corruption Service of the region was held in the East Kazakhstan region, aimed at forming a stable rejection of corruption among young people and promoting the ideology of "Law and Order". The meeting was attended by young anti—corruption volunteers, proactive and caring citizens who are ready to contribute to building a fair and transparent society. During the event, the young activists were informed about the norms of the current anti-corruption legislation, the specifics of the functioning of the anti-corruption system, as well as the rights and obligations of citizens in this area. To consolidate the acquired knowledge, a quiz on anti-corruption topics was conducted. In addition, the participants were shown videos that clearly illustrate the consequences of corruption offenses and the importance of civic engagement in the fight against this social evil. There are already 136 activists in the ranks of anti-corruption volunteers of East Kazakhstan region. They monitor the public procurement portal, participate in public monitoring of social facilities, and actively inform the public about anti-corruption mechanisms. Holding such events contributes to the development of legal culture among young people, the formation of an active civic position and the strengthening of trust in public authorities.
