Who is exempt from using cash registers

The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region informs that all monetary settlements in the country are subject to mandatory accounting using cash registers equipped with the function of recording and/or transmitting data to the state revenue authorities. At the same time, the applied KKM model must be included in the State Register.

 

Who is exempt from using cash registers?

  1. Settlements carried out by individuals who are not entrepreneurs.
  2. Activities of private bailiffs, lawyers and mediators.
  3. Provision of passenger transportation services in public urban transport with mandatory issuance of tickets in the prescribed form.
  4. Operations conducted by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  5. Taxpayers' activities carried out in localities where there is no public telecommunication network.
  6. Settlements conducted by second-tier banks.
  7. Religious associations.
  8. National postal operator — provided that payments are made in places without access to the communication network.
  9. Monetary settlements carried out through a special mobile application approved by authorized bodies.

 

Special conditions for territories without telecommunications

In cases where business activities are conducted in an area without a telecommunications network, it is allowed to use cash registers without a data transmission function, provided that this model is also included in the State Register.
