Ilyas Turmakhanov, the senior operational officer of the department for combating extremism in the police department of the Kyzylorda region, introduced the participants to the ongoing work on the prevention of religious terrorism. He emphasized that the key role in the formation of immunity to radical ideology is played by the combination of family upbringing, secular education and traditional religious values.
