A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the monument in the village of Bulak, Kobda district, the birthplace of the hero. The ceremony was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Hero of the Soviet Union, historical figure Aliya Moldagulova.
President's adviser Malik Otarbayev, regional akim Askhat Shakharov, chairman of the city maslikhat Anar Darzhanova, deputies and relatives of the sniper girl, residents honored Aliya's name and laid flowers on her monument. Later, a tour of the museum-house was conducted and he got acquainted with the life path and bravery of our heroine.
The events continued in the village of Kobda. 80 yurts were built on the anniversary of the Kazakh sniper girl, thus the ethno-village was built. The guests gathered at the century-old wedding watched Kazakh national games, played altybakan, and tasted Kazakh national dishes.
Guests watched a theatrical scene depicting the life and heroism of Aliya Moldagulova. The life of a Kazakh girl who was born and raised in a spring is specially depicted in the stage play. The performance showed not only history, but also the love of the motherland, bravery and patriotism, spirit and strength in the heroine.
The festive mood continued with a concert program. The bright numbers of artists of the regional philharmonic named after Gaziza Zhubanova and artists from Kobda gave a special impression to the audience.
