Today, on June 12, 2025, the "Education Department of Kostanay Oblast Akimat" MM Kostanay Oblast Akimat "On approval of the state education order for the 2025-2026 academic year for the training of personnel with technical and professional, post-secondary education" was discussed.

Chairman of the Kostanay Oblast Public Council S.Sh. Bekturganov asked questions about the principles of forming the state order for the training of workers, its compliance with the demands of the labor market, the existence of educational programs for training specialists in modern and new professions in regional colleges.

Member of the public council N. A. Lapshina drew attention to the important topics of shortage of specialists in a number of professions, including in rural areas. He also noted that due to the implementation of the new Tax Code, it is necessary to anticipate an increase in the demand for financiers and accountants.

During the discussion, the developer of the draft resolution - "Education Department of the Kostanay Oblast Administration", representatives of MM, Deputy Head of Education Department - A.K. Begatarov and the head of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Department of Education - Zh. S. Zhumina gave an explanation.

During the discussion, the issues of employment of college graduates, shortage of labor resources in rural areas of the region and ways to solve other problems of technical and vocational education were raised.

According to the results of the meeting, the Public Council will prepare relevant recommendations and send them to state bodies.
