Center of Disaster Medicine is actively performing important tasks to protect the life and health of citizens who are faced with emergency situations. Specialists of the center respond quickly to various emergency situations, such as natural earthquakes, man-made disasters, and traffic accidents.

Since the beginning of 2025, the teams of the center's branches have gone to emergency locations 3,464 times. Emergency medical assistance was provided to 753 injured persons, of which 102 were transported to medical institutions.

Since 2011, the development of transport medicine has been actively undertaken within the framework of the state health care development program of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Healthy Kazakhstan". Between 2012 and 2014, 41 highway medical-rescue stations were established on dangerous highway sections of the republic and are working continuously to this day. This greatly increased the ability to provide emergency medical care to the victims at the scene and transport them to medical institutions by ambulance.

In 2025, the teams of the Emergency Medical Service made 745 trips, provided medical assistance to 800 people, and 493 people were admitted to hospitals. In addition, 11 people were rescued on highways during snowstorms and car breakdowns.

The Disaster Medicine Center continues to improve emergency medical aid mechanisms and increase the speed of action to protect people's lives and health in any critical situation.
