In 2025, career centers sent 1,687 people to vocational training at the request of employers, of which 89 people completed their studies. After completing the courses, 83 Kazakhs got permanent jobs. Zuhra Myrzakhmetova, a resident of Kyzylorda, a mother of six children, shared her success story.

In 2006, she graduated from Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata with the specialty "informatics teacher of primary education", but did not work in her profession.

"When my youngest daughter turned 5, I started actively looking for a job. My search for 7 months was unsuccessful, and I finally decided to master a new profession. For this purpose, in September 2024, I contacted our career center, where they offered me to take short-term vocational training courses," said Zuhra Myrzakhmetova.

Zuhra used to spend her free time from housework making holiday clothes, bedclothes, curtains, and tablecloths for her children, so she chose sewing courses.

"The career center offered me to study vocational training at the employer's workplace at Kerim Sulu-Qyzylorda JSC. sent a referral," says the mother of many children.

After studying for three months and completing the course, the mother of many children was hired as a permanent employee of "Kerim Sulu-Qyzylorda" JSC.

"The employer hires an unemployed person who applied through the career center for a temporary job, concludes an employment contract with him, and assigns a mentor from among experienced workers, conducts practical classes. After completing the training, the employer replaces the unemployed person with a permanent job.

The labor resource mobility center pays the wages of the vocational student during the training period at the expense of the local budget. The monthly salary is 20 MEC," said Ayaulym Berekenova, head of the Employment Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The largest number of those sent to study according to regional statistics - 305 people in Almaty region, 210 people in Zhambyl region, 201 people in Karaganda region and 195 people in Zhetysu region.

Professions in demand among students: tailoring - 450 people, cook - 219 people, hairdresser - 141 people, tractor driver - 100 people, electric and gas welder - 60 people.
