In Institution №48 of the North Kazakhstan Region, the closing ceremony of the annual summer Spartakiad was held, bringing together more than 120 inmates.

Deputy Head of the facility, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Yerkin Kopzhasarov, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants. He emphasized that such sporting events contribute to strengthening health, fostering discipline, and developing team spirit among inmates.

Within the framework of the Spartakiad, participants competed in ten sports, including football, volleyball, wrestling, and others. As a result of the competitions, 30 new facility records were set.

Particular attention was drawn to the oldest participant — a 56-year-old inmate who demonstrated the best result in pull-ups on the horizontal bar, proving that sports have no age limits.

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of the winners. As prizes, the inmates received unique medals and gifts made of wood, which gave the event a special symbolic meaning.
