Kazakhstan continues to work on returning illegally withdrawn assets. On behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, these funds are being used to build and modernize hundreds of social facilities across the country.
Focus on socially significant infrastructure
The returned funds are transferred to a special state fund (SSF) established under the Ministry of Finance.
✔️ At the moment, funding for 406 projects has been approved for a total of 318 billion tenge. Of these, 333 projects are already being implemented, including 9 educational facilities, 3 sports facilities, 162 healthcare projects, and 159 water supply facilities.
🔺All projects are being implemented within the framework of the Head of State's instructions on developing socially significant infrastructure. Educational facilities help increase the availability of quality education. Sports facilities are aimed at developing mass sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
🔸Medical institutions are being created within the framework of the “Modernization of Rural Healthcare” program to provide medical care in remote communities. The construction of water supply networks is in line with the strategic goal of providing all cities and villages in the country with 100% clean drinking water by 2025, which is an important step towards improving the quality of life of the population.
