Three small industrial zones and 22 projects to stimulate investment in single-industry towns are being implemented in the Karaganda region

The construction of three small industrial zones is scheduled to be completed in the Karaganda region this year. They will be located around the largest enterprises in the region. Akim of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev said at a meeting on the development of single-industry towns that these zones are designed to stimulate the development of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as attract investment to the region.
In addition, 22 projects with a total cost of 218 billion tenge have been identified to attract investors and support the development of single-industry towns. The implementation of these projects involves the provision of land, infrastructure development and the creation of about one thousand new jobs.
"Special attention is being paid to the development of industrial infrastructure in Temirtau, where it is planned to create an industrial zone with an area of 20 thousand square meters on the basis of Karmet Service. This initiative is aimed at expanding production capacities and creating new jobs," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
