A women's volleyball tournament was held in the Abai region, attended by employees of the military unit 47007 of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian State University of Management and Supply of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, teachers of the Zhangiztobe village school, school No. 236 and employees of the institution No. 23 DUIS in the Abai region.

            A total of 30 women participated in the competition, each team had six participants. The initiator of the sports event was the institution of UIS No. 23. The competition was timed to coincide with International Women's Day and aimed at educating the younger generation in the spirit of unity, patriotism and a healthy lifestyle.

             Following the results of the game, the teachers of the Zhangiztobe village school won, the second place was awarded to the employees of institution No. 23, and the third place was taken by the teachers of school No. 236.

           All participants of the tournament were presented with gifts, the winners received cups, medals and valuable prizes.

            — In today's game, the girls showed us that they are not only keepers of the hearth and exemplary employees, but also women who can show their strength on the sports field. We congratulate all women on the upcoming holiday and wish them good health, happiness and well—being," said Anar Sabiyeva, Deputy head of the institution.
