The Ministry of Finance is improving the legal framework in the field of public procurement to strengthen support for Kazakh producers. Thus, the Order of the Minister of Finance from June 24, 2025 № 321 amended the Rules of State Procurement.

The main changes are aimed at supporting Kazakhstani commodity producers in terms of:
- increasing the term of delivery of goods under the contract from 15 to
60 calendar days. This will allow to avoid failure to meet the deadline for fulfillment of obligations;
- reduction of payment terms for delivered goods
from 30 calendar days to 10 working days. This measure will reduce the financial burden on producers;
- increasing the amount of mandatory advance payment from 30% to 50%.

In general, the above changes are aimed at stimulating the growth of local production and the development of domestic business.

The Order shall come into force ten calendar days after its first official publication.
