Kazakhstan Participates in International Business Forum in Bangalore, India's Silicon Valley

Bangalore, 30 June 2025 – On 27-28 June 2025 in Bangalore (state of Karnataka) representatives of the Kazakh diplomatic mission in India participated in the “India – Asia & Europe Business Conclave”, organized by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF) with the support of the state government.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic community of Central Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as leaders of the state's largest companies. The business forum also included an award ceremony for the National Award for Outstanding Achievements to businesspeople in Bangalore.
During the presentation by the Kazakh delegation, participants were shown a video about Kazakhstan's tourism potential, including a presentation of the “Born Bold” media campaign, and the country's investment climate was also presented. Particular emphasis was placed on the IT sector, as the region is renowned for its successes in the field of digital solutions.
“Karnataka, particularly the city of Bangalore, is an important destination for innovative, educational, and technological cooperation between Kazakhstan and India,” a representative of the Kazakh Embassy told participants at the event.
After the official part of the event, an informal meeting was held between diplomats and Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, the guest of honor at the forum. In addition, a number of productive meetings with business representatives took place on the sidelines of the event, during which they expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan.
Following the event, an agreement was reached with GIBF to organize a visit by a business delegation from the state of Karnataka to Kazakhstan in the near future.
For reference: Karnataka is one of the fastest growing states in India with a population of around 67 million. The state capital, Bangalore, is known as the “Silicon Valley of India” due to its significant role in the field of information technology. The city is home to many large Indian and international IT companies.
